Whistler, of course, is a world-renown haven for winter sports. This past August however, I discovered that Summer Whistler is equally as gorgeous and fun. The mountain bike trails around Whistler are fantastic. Andy and I spent an amazing day biking around around Lost Lake, we even ran into a bear cub! This is the climb up to the Upper Grindelwald Glacier or Oberer Grindelwaldgletscher, one of the lowest glaciers of the Alps at 1,400m. I’m back! Though… admittedly not for very long. Montreal has received a healthy dose of snow in my absence.
