Temple of Kukulkan, Chichén Itzá, Mexico

All week I’ve been thinking up a completely, mindblowingly awesome post- it didn’t happen. Sorry kids, time has once again escaped me, as it has done so frequently since moving to Australia.

This photo was taken on an amazing trip to the Yucatan peninsula. The history major in me was on an all-time high as we explored some of the most significant sights of the Mayan civilization: Chichén Itzá, Uxmal, Cobá and Tulum.

I’m sure many of you know the joys of Alt-J, but do you know the joys of waking up to this song? It’s my current fav first thing in the morning.
