HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

These tulips just happen to be in the gardens of the nation’s capital buildings. Just look at them as they patriotically ‘stand on guard for thee.’

My love for Florence + the Machine has recently been renewed. I listen to her album Lungs on my way to work, it makes for a lively and cheerful walk through the city. My Boy Builds Coffins is an upbeat, yet slightly macabre song, it suits the bright disposition of these tulips and I like how it happily suits the morbid turn-of-phrase “pushing up daisies.”
