I took this photo of a merchandise table a couple months ago at the concert of one of my favourite bands. The track I’ve selected is not from this unnamed group but is off of The Black Key’s 2010 album “Brothers.” The entire disk is solid from start to finish. I love the old school style of rock these guys have. Most of the tracks have these persistent beats that are both simple and creative- the result is addictive sound that makes you feel like you should be flooring it on dirt roads in a 1975 Chevy Caprice Convertible. Without a doubt, my favourite track from this album is Howlin’ For You, but I’m offering Tighten Up for this photo. Enjoy.
