Merida, Yucatàn, Mexico— The Yucatàn Peninsula is stupidly photogenic.
First off, I want to give a quick shout-out to the lovely Alexiane P., a former McGill touree of mine and an absolutely stunning vocalist. She has been selected as a finalist to sing at this year’s FrancoFolies (click for SSND post). For those of you who don’t know, Les FrancoFolies is a French music festival, possibly the largest, where francophone artists from all over the world descend on our spectacular city of Montréal to perform both free open air and ticketed concerts. You won’t regret taking the time to listen to her superbly sing Cœur de Pirate’s (a SSND favourite) Adieu: http://etoilemontante.francofolies.com/2014/participants/12768
Elle est tellement manifique. Votez Alexiane!!!!
Today’s tune is just a subtle groove to get those of you in school through the end of your exams. If you’re not in exams, you can add it to your entertaining playlists– because we’re all hosts with the mosts… err… enviable playlists.
P.S. How cute is this video?
